(I Read) Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

Front cover of Brave New World The counterpart of 1984. Whereas the aforementioned centres around propaganda and surveillance topped off with the spine-tingling Room 101, Brave New World is a world of hedonism and degeneracy ruled by the distinctive elites.

Soma may well be a drug but the further along I was in the story, the more I felt it can be viewed as metaphorical.
